It’s that time of year again, it’s my first Dickensian market of the year in Grassington this Saturday. I’m really looking forward to it, the atmosphere is magical, there’s always something of interest going on, as well as mulled wine, hot food, roasted chestnuts, hot chocolate. There’s street entertainment including a Mummers play from Penny Plain Theatre Company, and the ‘human vegetable machine’ is sure to put a smile on everyone’s face. brass bands and carol singing, a great day out for all the family. And you get the chance to buy some Christmas presents too. I have lots of special offers especially for the Dickensian, including hand painted anodised aluminium cuff bangles, and fused glass dishes and coasters.
If you decide to visit details of the event, including the park and ride scheme can be found here. Things will be even more special this year as it’s the 30th anniversary, and as part of the celebrations they will be having an ice rink on some weekends.
I hope to see you there!
