Jubilee Sunday

I’ve been thinking about what being British means to me, nothing means more to me than the British landscape. I love time spent in The Lakes so what better way to spend Jubilee Sunday than in my favourite place in all the world. I went out early and got back in time for a roast Sunday lunch before settling in front of the TV to watch the Pageant with a few glasses of vino and falling asleep. We haven’t seen a drop of rain here in the north.

Oh, and the much deserved cake of the day was coffee and walnut
