The’re fired!

Just a quick post, I’ve cleaned up the clay pieces and they are now bisque fired. I’ve had some fun choosing glazes, a bit like a kid in a sweet shop, all those colours to choose from. I’ll post again once they are glazed.

Here’s the copper and bronze clay pieces, I’m really pleased with them and I will be ordering some more metal clay soon, some of these will be making their way into my etsy shop .

I got the chance to make some glass beads too, pictures once they are annealed.

As for the sardines my kiln has broken so they will have to wait a while. It will give me time to think about whether or not I should paint them.

I had a great week home alone, it was a cross between a stay in a spiritual retreat, a boot camp, health farm, and a craft course!

Edited to say the glazes have arrived, so more pictures to follow soon.
