fritnchipsJo also has a shop selling murrini and twisties etc for bead makers, her shop is called     Frit n Chips. As a newcomer to bead making I’m in awe of Jo’s talent, I can only dream of making tiny miniatures like these Halloween pumpkins.

Jo is involved with making beads for Beads of Courage, like these amoeba beads, to give to children undergoing cancer treatment, Each bead represents a milestone in the child’s treatment. Read more about this cause on Jo’s blog, or go to Beads of Courage .

This weekend Jo and other lampworkers are having a 24 hour Beadathon lampwork marathon, they will be staying up all night making beads, and raising funds for Beads of Courage. If you would like to give your support pop over to Just Giving every pound given will make a huge difference and help Jo reach her fund raising target.

I told you Jo was a very special and talented lady, I hope she get’s a lie in afterwards, she deserves it.
