New copper jewellery

Finally I have had the time to make some new copper jewellery for Etsy. Remember those copper charms I made a while back using copper clay?

Here are some simple pendants, in a price range that won’t break the bank.

These are rather dainty, they look great with a summer dress, or just a t shirt and jeans. The are made from real shells and cast in copper clay. They come with an 18 inch silver plated snake chain, and at £9.95 they are very affordable.

I’ve also made some copper bangles using the sea shell charms, and one with a hawthorn leaf from the garden. The great thing about these stacking bangles is that you can wear one and it looks great, or stack them with other bangles to suit your dress and your mood.

I’ve really felt summery in my work this week, as you can see. Well, the weather may not be it’s best but I can still think about trips to the seaside, the beaches where I picked up these shells, and boat trips, just a few memories of my favourite places. I can even imagine the smell of the sea air.

Here’s some copper enamelled pendants that are inspired by the sea around Cornwall, and summer gardens in the soft rain.

So I’ve had quite a busy week, my shop is now fully stocked, and even if the weather isn’t so good it still feels like summer to me.

Oh, the plans for the log cabin are taking shape, I’ve got my design picked out, now I need to find some builders to do the foundations.
