Out on the Fells

The weather has been so good lately I have to get out and about so I’m not going to spend time with a lot of explanations today.

This is a follow on walk from one of our regulars  up Blake Fell, then on to Pile of Stones and Carling Knott. It’s usually too boggy underfoot but it’s ok just now. The views are amazing.

I’m going to use some of these scenes for thread paintings.

I was just looking at those photos and thinking they would make wonderful dreamy scenes in art then I read your last comment. Look forward to seeing those works of art!

Looking at your photos brought to mind the fantastic scenery in the Outlander TV Series and what I would imagine from the books! I looked up a map and saw that this area is close to the border of Scotland too!
Thank you for sharing these awe-inspiring photos and your trek.

Thanks Alysen, yes we are not far from the border. We holiday a lot in Scotland, there are a few posts on my blog about trips to the Highlands, and the Isles. I do love the Scottish scenery.
