A few drawings under the bed.

I’m having a clear out today, and while I was hunting under the spare bed I found some drawings for the OCA drawing course I started a while back. Drawing really does show us that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, everyday objects make great subjects for drawing. Betty Edwards “Drawing on the Artist Within” says in her book that drawing  helps us become more creative, I think that’s true.

We always have an onion in the house so there’s always something to draw, I love the inside of cut vegetables and fruit as sources of design.

Turnip or swede?

drawing by kiln fired artThat depends on whether you live in the north or the south, and if you live on the other side of ‘the Wall ‘ then it would be called ‘neeps’;  if you are further afield it might be a rudebager, heck I don’t even know how to spell it!

Here’s another one
